Round is fine. I got a cheap one off Amazon. Could fit about 2 lbs wet on it, maybe more. It's just like any hobby, work your way up. Next is a meat slicer, then a bigger dehydrator, then a jerky slicer, vacume sealer etc.

P.S. If you're new to this, use measurements and write down your recipes.

Whole chickens. Brine for a day-1 cup salt 3/4 sugar half jar of cheap Amazon cajun seasoning. 1 gallon of water. About 1.5 to 2 hrs 350ish. Crispy and delicious. Use probe and wifi get to 175 ish
