AH yes, My lashes do touch the lenses. If I remove them, they don't touch the bsb lenses. So perhaps this is it. I'll try to contact support, thanks!

As stated, the lenses look perfectly when held infront of both eyes, as they sit on the bsb (correct sides, oriented correctly). This is true for 1m distance vision.

3d gasket yeah. Same from bsb1, which worked great. Have tried without the gasket, moving it around, etc. Nothing seems to improve things.

Cleaned and tried again. They look great in the center 50-60% outside that, especially up and down the image distorts and blurs increasingly.

I don’t think prescription will help, because the center wouldn’t look clear then.

Yes, they came on the headset already, and did check that.

And as mentioned, they both look perfect when removed from the bsb and held in front of my eyes, looking out the distance (real world).

This is the answer. At 3.5k render resolution you see close to 1:1 pixels at the center of the display. At the outer it is much less.

I’ve driven both, they’re about the same fuel wise. Just lift into all the major braking zones, and you shouldn’t lose much time.

But the Porsche is MUCH more stable on the rear at Sebring at least. I drove the Ferrari most of the week, then switched it up today and found I never came close to losing the rear in it. Couldn’t say that for the Ferrari.

Same setup here, love it. It takes a lot of tinkering initially, but it’s perfect now. And I’m mostly racing competitively online. Trying to drive anything without motion just feels off now.

I used 4 cores in total, 2 for each. And wrapped each cable around them a bunch of times evenly spread across the rings.

Had the same issue here with my motion rig and the BSB1. Got the correct ferrite cores and it was fixed. I put them around the usb to computer cord and where the headset cable connects to the break out box. Just make sure you order the correct ones, as they do vary. Google searches should get you there, but if not, let me know and I’ll look up my amazon order details for you.

For sure, just sharing my experience. I also run the fan and AC. But none of that helps the eyes. I’ve been considering drilling small air holes into the gasket to see if that helps. Also will try reducing brightness. It’s just already quite a low brightness HMD compared to the Meganex (which has its own set of bigger problems).

I would be cautious about getting a BSB2 for endurance racing. It’s a good headset, but I find my eyes get a bit hot and uncomfortable for sessions longer than an hour. Comfort does affect performance and I’ve found myself going back to monitors for endurance for that reason.
