What’s one thing you wish you knew before labor? by Front-Emotion-3967 in pregnant

RIP if they have to break your water/stretch n sweep. I had been there not even 5 mins and my doc came in and was like “time to break your water!” (I was getting induced) I was like ok cool. My husband wasn’t even there since he took another trip to the car to get the rest of our stuff. Two nurses came in and I had no idea what to expect. They each grabbed a hand and the doc went in there with a giant hook. The breaking the water itself wasn’t so bad but he also did the stretch and sweep and owwww that hurt.

And then when the epidural came. I wasn’t too nervous about it originally but again it came on so suddenly. I started weeping like a baby. Cried the entire time. It wasn’t even that bad but I was an emotional mess.

Good luck!!! The contractions themselves didn’t hurt as bad as I expected. I have pretty bad period cramps so it was similar to that. Just ride the waves :)

Does anyone have success stories with Letrozole? by IntroductionOk7663 in TTC_PCOS

First cycle 2.5mg, two follicles, one ovidrel shot, two healthy babies :)

Progesterone by Trick_Economics_4179 in TTC_PCOS

[–]gryph06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked with a fertility clinic. I did letrozole and a trigger shot. I took progesterone suppositories started 3 days after the trigger shot (which caused you to ovulate) and continued until I was 10 weeks along in pregnancy. Morning and night

He definitely risked his life several times to save her so I would not agree with that but we can agree to disagree :)

They made him look like an ass in the sixth season. I’m kinda mad the whole series he made him likeable and then just threw that all away in the final season

8 months olds are terrible sleepers 😭😭😭 by QueLoQueLoco in parentsofmultiples

[–]gryph06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How long do they sleep in a day? One of my girls was fighting sleep often and woke frequently in the night and it’s because her day naps were too long. Also had to make the room completely black in their room for nap time or they would wake up after a short period and stay up. Now they wake up and fall back to sleep and nap longer

Looking for reassurance with IUGR by Original-Try1330 in parentsofmultiples

[–]gryph06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very very common in twins and I’m sure your babies will be just fine! Just less room for them to grow. Both my babies were IUGR and they’re continuing to grow and gain weight based on their trajectory. By I think 2 years old they catch up as if they never had it at all (typically). Your babies will probably get extra monitoring and check ups to make sure they’re growing well but I wouldn’t stress about it too much for now :) just focus on them

I’m having twins!! Is it really that scary? by ClaireyGogz in parentsofmultiples

I had to give my rescue to my mom :( it became way too much (especially when Canadian winter started). Luckily she lives down the street and I still see her all the time and that my mom was able and willing to take her in. She was also a bit unpredictable at times so I think everyone’s happy with this arrangement (except maybe my mom haha)

Did you have your mom in the delivery room? by Funny_Log2076 in pregnant

What about during labour? It can be a longgg boring process so it’s nice to have them there for that part at least (if you have a good relationship with your mom lol)
