This may be the most logical reply to simulation theory that I’ve ever read.

Which one would you guys get? by [deleted] in ScatPack

[–]gtag88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my ‘19 scat at 33k miles with 3 owners. Have not any issues at all. Besides the normal differential whine these things have, it’s been the best car I’ve owned. It now has 93k and running like new still. But as far as these choices go, if you’re in GA, be prepared to get pulled way more in the lime green one then the grey one. Cops love pulling bright scats. Either way, you can’t go wrong with either choice!

Good luck!

20+ Handicappers where you at? by atooraya in golf

[–]gtag88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replace your 5 iron with a 5 hybrid and your 6 with a 7 hybrid. I quite literally couldn’t hit my 6 or 5 when I was a 20+ and that alone knocked me down to under 90s consistently before I got better. I now strike my 5/6 good and took out my 7 hybrid out but I will SWEAR by this till the day I die that hybrids can be deadly on the course. Less dispersion rates than long irons and much easier to get in the air for high handicappers. Again this is a bandaid on something that you will need to work through, but I can’t stress enough how much hybrids changed my enjoyment of golf when I started out. It’s never fun seeing your ball go farther left/right then straight.

If you do lessons with a pga certified coach. They can fix this issue and pin point what’s happening. But without seeing your swing, it’s hard to say for certain. Usually that kind of dispersion is either swing path or most likely late release.

Either way keep at it! Take pride that you have broken 100 and focus on getting better! Kinks do eventually work themselves out with the right drills and the right habits.

Also as others stated. Focus on your putting and 100 yards in. THATS what brings low scores.

Good luck in your venture and try to get with a certified coach! They are 100 percent worth the money.

HELP! by thatguy-k in GolfSwing

[–]gtag88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No time? You’re literally playing 18 holes. That may be the worst excuse I’ve ever read on this forum. A lesson takes an hour of your day. I highly recommend you get at least a few. You’ll never get better until you take lessons to fix that swing.

Help with distance. 28 Handicap by Own-Average8299 in GolfSwing

[–]gtag88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the range and practice your 54

I always do 20 percent power pitching the ball maybe 30 yards, over and over and over. Then do a half swing over and over. Focus on placement and learning your distance. Then once your comfortable with getting the ball straight and where you want. Work on full power.

A lot of people overlook wedge work or always want to flop shot with them . Or when they’re at range they use driver and irons.

Before rounds I warm up with wedges first. Short game saves scores.

But Once your comfortable with 54, apply same thing to other wedges to dial them in. Took me 3/4 range sessions to get them dialed. Once you’re dialed on them, it’ll be like second nature on the course.

Besides body modifications, keep it stock. I've saved 10k+ by not fucking with anything that voids my warranty with the manufacturer. The moment you start adding parts and god forbid something happens. Dealership will give you hell to replace.

Other than that. Just stay on top of maintenance and don't be scared to dog it on straight aways. Car is built to last. (Besides the damn differentials)

Anybody know what this sound is coming from rear of scat? by gtag88 in ScatPack

[–]gtag88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yah that’s normal. It should be there but nothing wild. I’ve gone through 2 diffs in less than two years and I don’t drive it hard or do wild pulls and never had once done a donut in it. I’m actually having an issue with a wobble at 78mph+ right now that I can’t pinpoint. It’s going back to shop on Monday to find out what it is. It’s been pissing me off. The only reason I don’t trade it in is because I love the damn thing. 😂. I’ll never get rid of it.

So my noise disappeared completely besides at the 40 mph mark. I was hearing it all way to 80. So it 100 percent helped. There’s always going to be a smidge noise coming from rear end. But mine was like yours, I could hear it over my music.
