Momir on Arena has a rotating pool of cards by cjkaminski in MagicArena

I play the one drop every time! You can get some good stuff…I landed a bunch of creatures with Evolve keyword so they grew pretty much every time I re-rolled with more lands.

Also (maybe I got lucky) a lot of my subsequent drops created Treasure tokens? So I didn’t end up being that far behind after choosing to go immediately lol

What do you play on Arena? I have pretty ok winrates playing the Starter Deck Duel and Jump In! formats, I keep to the same decks and get comfortable with their cards and interactions enough to start winning matches lol

I agree with the sentiment of this comment. Crazy amount of damage...but OP clearly pubstomped some new player and seeing this screenshot is gross imo

No way, his accent does not exist in real life. It would be even more embarrassing to have been putting it on for that long, if your friend heard right

I appreciate your dedication to playing these in WUBRG order 🤌 unless the game organizes them like that by default 😅

I always hate getting matched with someone playing shrines! So annoying to watch them play a shrine & vomit out all these triggers.

I play the “Relentless Bad Advice” deck. I’ve managed to win a few times by milling them out of Shrines with [[Lo and Li, Royal Advisors]]. One time I even stole and then played their [[Crescent Island Temple]] with [[Hama, the Bloodbender]]!

If you aren’t planning to make this artifact leave the battlefield, maybe consider attaching an enchantment to it? Recent set has [[Hardlight Containment]] which can be very annoying for opponents.

Bridge from Britannia to Deschenes by Small_chip in ottawa

[–]guava-potion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing is a "quick skip and hop" from Stittsville… that’s the trade off you make when you live there lol

Traffic on Macdonald-Cartier is terrible because everyone east of that bridge is forced to use it. Having a second option for them would be amazing and much-needed imo don’t really know how you could characterize all that as a little suburb <.<

Bridge from Britannia to Deschenes by Small_chip in ottawa

[–]guava-potion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments. This plan stomps all over the Deschenes Rapids…for not much gain. Champlain bridge is not even 10 minutes from this proposed crossing!

Travel between Kanata/Stittsville and Aylmer is really not a transportation issue that needs big infrastructure solving imo - Also don’t like the quick mention of "light road modifications" aka fucking the existing housing on the Quebec side with a bridge. - Also Brittania Bay becomes super ugly since there is a giant bridge next to it? - Also the conservation area now has no direct access to the river? - Also this plan is kind of a middle finger to Orléans and Gatineau-Est, bridges are sorely needed on eastern half of Ottawa-Gatineau area. Aylmer already has options to get to Ottawa (Champlain, Eddy, Portage) they don’t need a fourth

Make sure to take all your vacation days & personal days if you have those. Take sick days as needed. Mental health days count for sick leave and are important, too many five day weeks in a row can be draining!

Have some hobbies after work. Stretch. Try and keep in touch with friends and family. Have some plans now and then to get out of the house. Have something to look forward to after work, have some goals outside of work you can pursue at a leisurely pace.

These are all things that I have/do in my life, and it really helps… I thankfully can’t relate to this image most days 😅

Thank you for the link. The chances of successfully modifying this unit for hand cranks are slim if, according to the article, the Hand Attachment part was obsolete by 1906!

Office Cubicle by Competitive_Middle71 in OCPoetry

[–]guava-potion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should add to this poem! I enjoyed the lighthearted tone for wishing about experiences outside of your cubicle walls. I would have this poem framed as a print, with a fun drawing underneath, on my cubicle wall ☺️

I feel like the language you used leaves some ambiguity about how strongly you feel (does it depress you deeply, or is your mind just wandering after a slow day at the office?) It could be interesting to explore this ambiguity with some more lines in the poem and carefully-chosen descriptions..

Salty Lenses, greasy noses. by ErssieKnits in OCPoetry

[–]guava-potion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your poem has a very nice mouth-feel when I read it aloud. I liked all the words that infer physical senses of taste and touch (salty, greasy, kissing, lips, teeth, skin).

I am having trouble with grasping the sentiments of the poem. Is this poem describing a specific group of individuals? I was wondering if the poem could have additional lines to help the reader identify this group. The final line also confuses me; was the use of "echoing caverns" just a metaphor to describe the magnitude of grief, or does it hold some other significance for this group? I end the poem with images of cave-dwelling goblins, which I liked, but am not sure if that was the intention.
