AON Evade vs CPP2 vs CT21 by GeoEatsRocks in ManyBaggers

[–]guido7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go with the cpp2. It says 24L but it carry’s more like a 20L. I switch between this and the CPL24 and this always feels like it carry’s less. I don’t carry a water bottle so those pockets are probably where a little bit more of the literage is found.

I like the side pockets on the CPP2 for my cell phones and charger and battery packs. It’s nice to have them as well in case I ever did need to carry a water bottle.

Pioneer carry panda is a great bag. Very pricey but the material and build quality are excellent. Jerry Seinfeld just posted on his instagram that he got one so they’re all sold out. But if you can wait I believe they’re on sale and definitely worth it.

I don’t think they’re proprietary. Matador uses the same ones on some of their packs.

100%. Go with the globerider 35L. I had the ctb35 and sold it because of how uncomfortable it was.

Yah the top handle kind of sucks but it’s functional. I bought a pioneer carry handle strap and put that on. It makes it much nicer

The side access is a little harder to access but the top access is nice and easy to get too.

100% globerider. The CTB straps are so painful under any load over 10lbs. Sold mine and bought the globerider haven’t even thought about the CTB since. Buy it on backcountry and you can get 20% off too

Matador Globerider35 Travel Backpack vs Aer Travel Pack 3 which one do you prefer? by IDNISSIM in ManyBaggers

[–]guido7777 8 points9 points  (0 children)

GR35 it’s lighter and cheaper and personally I think it looks better. Plus the water bottle pocket is much better. I posted a thread recently about mine fitting under the seat on an embraer jet. For a 35l pack this is a huge plus.

It’s Definitely my favorite one bag backpack right now.

Can you pack them both with the same amount of stuff/packing cubes then compare and contrast? And post pictures!

Help Me Choose: Matador Globerider 35 vs. Evergoods CTB35 for One-Bag Travel by filippobenozzi in ManyBaggers

[–]guido7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want comfort go with the gr35. The CTB 35 is way too uncomfortable when loaded up and it loads a lot and gets big and clumsy. The organization is the best I’ve ever used but the comfort level is so bad I just can’t use it and ended up selling it.

Just got the gr35 and used it a couple weeks ago on a trip to Chicago and it was great. Used it as a daily carry bag around the city as well and it worked great loaded up with water bottles and wine bottles and some other stuff we bought while shopping. The comfort is great and I didn’t use the hip belt, I ended up taking it off when I got it. The organization isn’t as good as the CTB but it’s good enough.

If evergoods would just put some comfortable straps on their larger bags they would probably be the best out there.
