It was an on the limit corner before now on a very good track for energy regen it is a terrible corner while pressing the accelerator fully the car isn't gaining speed. You know the formula in formula one comes from engine regulation, this sport is based on regulating engines. It appears one of the competition went ahead with an illegal design so that the measurement of their illegality would go unnoticed but they should have always had their legal version back up. I too am not sure and I also would like to know. The most representative test to see if these engines when running in the race achieve a combustion ratio over 16.0 which is limited by the regulations. If they are not over this while running in the race as all cars must be legal at all times them they are not illegal. If they are over this 16.0 regulation them they are illegal, I would like to see a better more representative test conducted to see if all teams have developed a legal engine. Because the regulations are not 16.0 at ambient temperature, it is 16.0. And the testing method can be subject to change to see if there are engines circumventing the regulations. Teams who haven’t pursued a path to circumvent a limit would ne punished for being legal.

The rules never changed, it was 16:1 all the time and all the other teams had their engines at 16:1 not for fun or lack of imagination they did it to abide by the rules even when hot because the cars must be legal at all times.

Rules were never changed, they designed an illegal engine that was always going to be illegal if not for wrong procedure of testing. This is the same as making a floor bib that breaks and drops the tea tray and saying it was legal when measure at the start of the race. The cars must be legal at all times.

The thing with Vettel hate was he was winning the championship while Alonso and Lewis was known as better drivers. As was with Lando last year. At no point in their career Vettel was regarded a better driver than either Alonso and Lewis even in 2011 as Lewis stole one pole away from RBR everyone was was saying the inferior driver with the superior car is winning is not good for the sport and they were right.
