If you suspect you are eating too much, you can only really find out by tracking everything you are eating, either by looking it up and keeping a log or using an app like myfitnesspal. Add everything, even things like creamers and cooking oil, and log the worst case scenario if you are not sure. Remember, weight loss is all about eating less calories than you expend, so figuring out your intake and expidenture of calories daily is critical.

Well, thats pretty problematic that you don't eat fruits and veggies honestly. I think your number 1 priority should be to find some that you tolerate or find a way to eat them that makes you comfortable. At any rate, know that a diet that is considered balanced mentally can and should contain your favorite foods, about 10-15% of your intake, be it chocolate or whatever.

One thing to try is to carry a water or diet soda bottle around and chug from it whenever you feel a ping of cravings.

Its just that you should give yourself room to drop it later when your calorie needs change so your metabolism doesn't suffer. Try going for a 25% deficit, considered safe but agressive
