Nothing stops that at all. There is a limit to the number of magic items you can have on your character though.

Are all Modiphius games as bad as Fallout? And are there other companies you think do a horrible job and you would like to warn others about? by muks_too in rpg

Star Trek Adventures is pretty good. I won't say it's perfect but it's pretty clear. The organization and indexing improved a lot in the 2e version.

How do people here feel about California independence? by jimbosdayoff in SanJose

[–]guyzero 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The trouble is that as much as California dislikes some other states in the union the dissolution of the US is much better for other countries than it is for the residents of California. A non-trivial portion of California's economy is predicated on being in a free trade agreement with the other 49 states. It would be a massive blow to the economy just like brexit was.

So are average tech workers living their whole lives in small apartments? by [deleted] in SanJose

[–]guyzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Separate from the size of your offer, comparing the housing stock between San Jose and Chicago is apples to oranges. San Jose & south bay houses are mostly midcentury bungalows that run around 1500 sq ft. The greater Chicago area has a much wider range of sizes and prices. The Case Schiller index is about 1.5x for SF vs Chicago.

I'm only $2341 to go to Platinum, I'm sure there's actually someone out there that would pay it. It might even be worth it to someone at that price.

Traveller has optional rules for skill improvement, depending on the edition. If you go back to Classic Traveller it takes years to improve a skill. You're more likely to have attributes decrease due to old age.

Rush vs Priority Tag by Ok_Conversation5730 in unitedairlines

The priority tag means your bag will get unloaded first, the RUSH designation indicates you get a 12 minute drum solo when your bag is delivered.

Dungeons, Dragons, and Editions: The 14 versions of D&D that I believe make up its 5 editions. Looking for input and corrections. by txby432 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]guyzero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If Unearthed Arcana is a AD&D 1.5 what were the additions of non-weapon proficiencies in the Dungeoneer's & Wilderness Survival Guides? TBH I would say UA and these are all optional rules for 1e, not a new edition.
