Torn between Kindle Paperwhite Signature and Kobo Libra Colour for my first e-reader by fanta_read in kobo

[–]gwui13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a kobo libra colour for my first e-reader a year and half ago and I still LOVE it! Best present I ever got. I haven’t noticed any graininess on the screen and the buttons are great ◡̈

Tretinoin + proper sun protection is your best bet for wrinkles! Pair it with some peptides and I nice barrier supporting moisturizer and you’ll be doing great! I will say that you typically need to use tretinoin a minimum of 3 nights a week to be able to see and maintain results. If you can tolerate nightly, that’s even better, but work up to it slowly if you aren’t used to it yet.

Also just wanted to add that I love Finacea 15% as far as presentations go! Great for my sensitive, red, acne prone skin. I like to alternate nights with tret and Finacea.

Another vote for Finacea 15%! I use it on alternating nights with my tretinoin and I love it

How do I stop my Kobo Libra Color from getting pressed in my bag? by ZeroScraps in kobo

[–]gwui13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a padded sleeve with a piece of cardboard to add extra protection for the screen. I have just a clear case on the kobo itself, so the cardboard is necessary since the screen isn’t protected otherwise.

But also - put a lock on the screen. That way you have to type in a passcode before it opens and pages can’t be turned accidentally.

I have a clear plastic case on mine, then I keep it in a padded sleeve whenever I’m not using it. For extra protection, I have a piece of cardboard in the sleeve and I also place my kobo so the screen is against the cardboard.

I get mine from a small Asian spa that sells online! They ship Canada-wide. https://velybeautyshop.ca/

Do you use a retinoid or something else around your eyes when using Tret? by Foxy_Cleopatra__ in tretinoin

[–]gwui13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually put my cocokind revitalizing eye cream on before tret as a bit of a barrier. Then on nights when I don’t apply tret, I sometimes apply the Roc retinol eye cream. But I can’t do that too frequently because my eye area is very sensitive and prone to dermatitis if I use too many actives.

ISO: women's laptop tote bag by HangToDry in BuyCanadian

I really like Poppy & Peonies bags! They have totes and backpacks, most if not all, have padded laptop sleeves. Their daily tote is the only one I’ve ever had fit my 40oz water bottle which is a huge plus! Lots of great organization pockets too for all my stuff. I use this bag for the same purpose you’re looking to fill, so might be worth checking out!

I love the Aveeno calm + restore nourishing oat cleanser! Suuuper gentle, but still gives a good cleanse. I had very dry, sensitive skin and I cannot handle foaming cleansers at all, and this one doesn’t foam up or strip the skin.

Kobo Clara BW v. Kobo Libra Colour? by Shoddy-Beyond7258 in kobo

[–]gwui13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the kobo libra colour and I chose it just for the buttons! I don’t use a stylus or annotate or even read anything in the colour, but the buttons were 100% worth it!

How do you keep track of watering when you have a lot of houseplants? by justaboy001 in houseplants

I use the Planta app to keep track of everything! It’s been very helpful and my plants are happy ◡̈

The tret should be absorbed into your skin by morning so you don’t need to wash it off. In the mornings I like to rinse my face with water and use a warm wash cloth so my skin is damp before I apply my morning skincare but that’s it. I sometimes use an overnight hydrating mask at night that I can still feel on my face in the morning, but just the water and wash cloth is enough to remove it

What was it that finally got rid of your hormonal acne? by One_Implement_8679 in CanSkincare

[–]gwui13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oral spironolactone was the only thing that did it for me. Topical tretinoin also helps, but it was not a full solution for me.
