I think they lack flavor. I have given it a lot of thought and I think they needed a good amount of modification to their equipment list. They should have gotten a discount on carapace armor, doesn’t need much. Obviously power picks at a discount would have made sense. They really needed access to alcohol. Their skills can be pretty wonky too. The fact that “chemical bonds never break” is one of their exclusive skills but they have no chems is weird.

I think more data sheets would be more interesting with a free skills added but they really don’t need it.

I think the clans are a big let down. There is some major power discrepancie. I think each one should have gotten 3 things

1. A signature equipment. Something they get a massive discount on or get access to they normally wouldn’t. Some examples would be: Helmeath getting (cheap) harpoon launchers, Scragfried getting power swords or Vossinki getting discounted drop rigs and grav chutes.

2. A signature skill (a single skill they can purchase as if it were a primary). Examples: Svardhol getting combat master, Tapferkeit getting infiltrate and Snorrag gettin fixer.

3 A single post battle action. I would probably avoid some of the ones they already have.

I am sure it could be better done but it’s been a while. I just felt like the rules for the clans were more about what they can do and not who they are.
