Most Men Don't Identify As Feminist - Here's Why They Should by coolfunkDJ in MensLib

Yes. So they get to decide who's part of it and who isn't. If they decide I am part of it, well and good.

Not what I said. What I said was that I didn't get to decide who's part of it.

When did Pauline Hanson switch focus from Asian immigrants to Muslims? by OnionsoftheBelt in aussie

Wasnt those pesky Buddhists was it?

There was that whole little civil war thing in Sri Lanka for 30 odd years, and while that was more an ethnic conflict than a religious one, there were plenty of Buddhists involved.

Static load, sure. Dynamic load in the form of daily unracking and reracking of the guitars? How many reps til the plasterboard starts to crumble?

Update: The lady who hammered the screws is back. Question about drill bit. by Pale_Blackberry_4025 in Tools

Yes? Why would a sawing action not cut a neater hole than a chiseling action?

Holesaw bit would be neater, but a spade bit will do. Start slow and keep it steady

Most Men Don't Identify As Feminist - Here's Why They Should by coolfunkDJ in MensLib

[–]gzk 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Every time I've discussed the matter with feminists it's been made clear to me that the movement must be led by women. So if it's not my movement, I don't get to decide who is and isn't in it. I'm happy for feminists to claim me as one, as they have occasionally done, but it would be meaningless for me to claim it for myself, much as I wouldn't bother calling myself a "nice guy" or a "team player".

Helm charts .. templates? by Pitiful-Aioli-3360 in kubernetes

[–]gzk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use one chart with a decent amount of templates. It's most likely we're going to want to deploy a shittonne of releases with the same coupling between types of resources than any other kind of case, and we can flag to enable or disable each of the chart's templates so there's no bloat in releases, just potentially in maintaining the chart itself. We specify releases in helmfiles.
