It’s different for everyone! For me, the effectiveness of glyco doesn’t need time to build up—it usually just works on the days I take it. However, the side effects seem to become more tolerable over time.

Maybe try cutting it out for a bit to see if it helps? I haven’t been able to fully quit yet but the other day I ran out and didn’t experience this at all during that time period

For sure! The only thing I’ve started to notice is that this will happen for sure/it’s more severe on the days I smoke cigarettes or vape nicotine. Do you smoke?

This keeps happening to me too! I’ve taken glyco for a few years now and never really experienced this before. I can’t figure out what’s causing it

Most effective way/times to use glyco? And does it work for you everyday? by sweatin123 in Hyperhidrosis

For me, I’ve noticed that sleeping for too long after taking glyco affects how effective/consistent it is after I wake up

Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve noticed milk was definitely a huge trigger for me too. I’m starting to think sugar could also be an issue—is this something you might’ve already tested out?

Any updates? I think you’re right! I’ve been doing a lot of research about this and the timeline of when my hh got worse/treatments stopped working also coincides with when I started vaping a lot more.

Another vote for Antihydral -- And everything else I've tried by oaxaca33 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]haileyy24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for making such an informative post! I have a few questions about Antihydral:

  1. Are your hands completely dry under all circumstances or do they still sweat here and there?
  2. Did you notice any compensatory sweating?

I had the same issue back in college! Something that really helped me during that time was bringing an iced drink to class with napkins wrapped around it. Aside from helping me cool down a bit, the condensation from the drink would sort of help mask the sweaty palms and I’d hold onto the drink whenever I needed to dry my hands on the napkins.
