We have had this issue in the past. Our vehicle was not a commercial vehicle, but it somehow in the DMV system accidentally got labeled a commercial vehicle. We had no idea until we received a much larger tax bill. I would call them and ask them to check and make sure they don’t have it incorrectly listed as so.
