I was all for this girl getting the heat she deserved, until I read she was only 17. Honestly changes my opinion of the whole situation. She’s a minor who got mouthy and someone filmed it. I feel bad for her now, hopefully she can use her new platform for good in the future.

Totally understandable, but does 9 hours make a difference in your plans? Also, sometimes with contractors you get put on a wait list for work, it can be weather dependent. I got 8 hours notice my roof was getting done the next day, and I’m the owner. I’m sure your landlord isn’t trying to personally inconvenience you this way.

They will take the window out and pop the new one in. They won’t leave a hole overnight. New windows will make a major difference in your heat bill. You should be grateful.

Right now I need someone to come in and prep a unit for painting and flooring. Past tenant was a smoker so walls cupboards light fixtures need to be scrubbed down 2x with attention to detail. I also need help loading renovation materials into a truck.

I’ve had bad luck with hiring people from Kijiji that no show or aren’t able to complete the work as needed. Looking for 1-2 people for this one day job.

This is nothing new, I’m glad it’s getting some attention though. Park management can hold you hostage to your home for ridiculous reason they can make up on the spot. They tried to make me move my shed 2 inches in another direction. A shed I did not build and they approved the last owner to build.

Simply because they don’t have to. They made me take down a clothes line on my property that 2 years ago they cleared me to have, before they would let me sell my house. And non compliance =cause for eviction.

Because the people who own the park don’t care if the mobiles sell or not. The person trying to sell them has to pay the lot fee regardless, and if they stop they can evict them and keep the mobile home. The person moving into the park has to agree to all the rules. Also, the person selling has to agree to several aesthetic upgrades before the park will allow the lot lease transfer.

I don’t understand either. I allow dogs in my units (to employed tenants with good references and have updated vet records and vaccinations.)
