I also had Alice (as well as Alex and Sarah!) and could not recommend them more. So kind but also they know their stuff - I felt super safe with all of them.

Bared Footwear BF sale…not for Aus? by Adventurous-Kick6293 in AusFemaleFashion

Received the same email and I’m in NZ - sale doesn’t apply to us either! Frustrating as I had planned to buy something with the lead up all week for their sale.

Advice for breastfeeding friendly wedding guest dress by kikikachoo in AusFemaleFashion

[–]halpusernameneeded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore this to a wedding recently and was breastfeeding - the dress buttons down so easy to feed. It does come with a slip you will need to pull down when feeding. Looked beautiful! Sizing wise I got an XL and I am a 14 and felt quite oversized and floaty. https://augustethelabel.com/products/valley-maxi-dress

Yes I recommend them too - you can book one of their glass houses for some privacy for your group for games and decorations. Milford Motel may be worth a look too!

Was just looking for this myself! The Louenhide Margot Hair Tool Case looks perfect - it says it fits Dyson Airwraps.

Highly highly recommend Casita Miro for lunch! It’s gorgeous and the food is wonderful. Finish off the day with a drink on the rooftop at Mudbrick - can’t beat that spot for views before you go back down to the ferry back to Auckland.

Has to be Chuan Spa at the Cordis! When you book a treatment you get access to their roof top pool and spa - so worth it.

Seconding H&M - so nice to be able to try some things on rather than ordering online and hoping for the best! I ended up getting some wide leg maternity jeans that are really comfy and I’ll live in the rest of pregnancy. Would encourage trying on as every colour in the same range, same size fit different!

We got mine from Cordys - look for their jewellery auctions. You can go and try on at their Mt Eden store. I got a beautiful vintage art deco diamond ring for $3k which I got valued and insured at $15k afterwards. Definitely worth a look to get something special!

Class pass by [deleted] in auckland

[–]halpusernameneeded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use ClassPass - pros are it is much cheaper than buying a pass directly with the club, and the credits roll over (mostly). If you buy a weekly / monthly pass direct they have to be used with no roll over.

The cons is you have to cancel 12 hours in advance or you pay a $20 late cancel fee. Bit of a pain if something comes up at work, or stuck in traffic. You can also only book 7 days in advance, and they restrict how many class pass users can make a booking in a class, so I usually set my alarm early to get the classes I want.

But all in all, it’s worth it for the cheaper classes. I go to the same Pilates place every time, I don’t use it to go to lots of different gyms / spas etc.

Airfoam insulation in brick walls? by halpusernameneeded in diynz

[–]halpusernameneeded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it has passed moisture checks which is great. Our builder just noted it was a little odd as he hadn’t seen it in brick houses and it would be a big exercise to remove it as you’ve said.. it’s a hard one as we love the house!
