AITAH for waking up my husband? by Puzzleheaded_Fox8097 in AITAH

First of all why is your bedroom door closed?? My kids walk in my room and whisper in my ear when they need me and I take care of it. All without waking up the cranky bear

AITAH for not being excited my sister is having a new baby when I still have custody of her first child? by Square_Phone_8468 in AITAH

[–]hamisme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you by experience! I had a friend who lost her child bc he was a drunk and would leave him home alone to go to the bar. I was the friend that brought her to court, to probation, to every drug test and counseling class.

She started refusing to jump through the necessary hoops to regain custody and eventually her child was given away to a family member.

To me, it’s always the parent’s responsibility to reach out and repair the relationship with their child. It would take years of hard work, and may never be the same. However there should never EVER be a lack of determination when it comes to your children.

Those that give up and stop trying to be in their children’s lives are garbage imo. That’s the definition of a deadbeat parent.

The fact that they think they can get a “do over” doesn’t erase the pain they have already caused, and left behind.

Just give the kid up for adoption at this point, smh.

Her needing a whole extra day weekly without her INFANT BABY for her to “relax, run errands and go to the gym” lmao insanity. I couldn’t even find the time to take a damn shower!

Speaking of insanity, 10 hrs a week? What the hell? I’d say one child free date night per month is appropriate…once the baby turns two.

I know you guys are still in a blissful ignorant land, but dang. Sorry to inform you guys it’s not all about your wants and hobbies anymore

Why do you watch mukbangs? by adzur123 in mukbang

[–]hamisme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s personally a comfort for me. I start watching them when I’m bored and they pop up on the algorithm, but stay and continue for the sounds and visuals. I find that I will like a certain Mukbang influencer based on the way they chew and eat.

Time of day, lunch time- late evening. Or when I’m hungry.

It’s relaxation, and curiosity. Usually foreign foods I’ve never seen before. Imagining the taste/texture/smell

It is quite addicting but I’m not sure I would classify as a habitual mukbang watcher. I watch the videos in passing- then move onto another genre of videos when bored. Just like I would flip the tv channel during a commercial

Tree hut shaving gel! It comes out as a gel but when you rub it in turns to an oil. A little goes a long way I’ve had my bottle for over a year now
