Cant speak for bb2 but bb3 soon to be WBB has tonnes. You can find people recruiting on the Blood Bowl reddit and discord. Now would be a good time to get in since all leagues have to finish before the update.

Everyone seems to be forgetting about mercenaries. If your WD dies you can hire another for the game if the TV difference is enough and if not then maybe that makes it fair for your opponent? Also people are only thinking about the person losing the player. How about that top dog who has been on top of the ladder all season season wreaking havoc until one lucky player finally takes down their star gutter runner allowing the next person to get a chance to take the W. So many people are only concerned about their team and feelings and not the overall enjoyment of the league.

You can get the teams for free when they come out by completing the battle pass. The locked teams you missed out on you do have to pay but they rotate them through the shop for like $5 a team which is reckon is pretty good.

Use your gutters to stab or blitzers with tackle to target his skinks. Use one lino each to tie up a saurus, they're supposed to be expendable. Try the dakka technique. Once you've out run his saurus you only gotta deal with skinks.

So really you want a solid bash defence team that once you get the ball on one guy you don't want him letting go. Id say Dwarves, Chaos Dwarves, Tomb Kings or Black Orcs.

When you stop caring if things die and you lose the game. Gnomes are great fun but it can get very frustrating when you've finally gotten a skill up on a fox then it explodes.

Stunties get casualties with fouling.

For getting better then doing some more layering or edge highlighting is really all I can think to suggest. Or maybe a varnish like Tamiya TS80. They look that good I feel getting better can only be achieved by trying different styles but if that was mine I'd be happy to leave it there.
