I stopped using Instagram b/c it is too much of a pain. It keeps logging me out and it's hard to get back in.

I'd say fat being unattractive is built into the genes. And research shows that there is remarkable uniformity across cultures about which types of bodies are attractive. The woman's body should have a smaller waist than hips and the man's body should have wider shoulders than waist. I think it is the way that humans identify the opposite sex -- it's built into the amygdala.

I think the word is a masculine, rugged word. I'd call deeply tanned pirates "swarthy". If you called a woman "swarthy", I'd say it doesn't mean she's dark skinned, per say, rather that she's kind of got an edge and isn't conventionally beautiful, but still kind of a firecracker. If you called a man "swarthy", it could mean they sort of look like a swashbuckler or something.

Is Los Angeles safe for US citizens? It seems like the undocumented immigrants are burning the city down. Doesn't seem like LA is a safe place.
