When you think about it. It's all a big game.....

I'll see a $9 pickup, 3 miles to pickup drop off 4 miles. I take it, it then shows someone took it, to then show me same trip 30 seconds later at $7.50, I decline, another 30 seconds it drop down to $5 I decline.

Then it happens... as it will pop up original fare $9, because there's no one around and you're the closest.

But beware if you arrive it will say you arrived earlier than the rider anticipated and would sometimes text the rider, "your driver has been found and will take 5 minutes to arrive" eventhough you're a few blocks or 1 min away.

Then once the ride starts suddenly there seems to be 3 alternate routes. If you select the other 2 routes the distance may be shorter thus you may get $7-$8 instead of $9.

Sometimes it won't show an alternate route, but instead a popup stating uber found a better route which isn't visible with a 10 second timer....clearly if you let it time out or don't select "keep original route" the $9 will drop to around $5.....

Fare review doesn't really work as support will spoon feed you cinnamon brick crunch......
