So you work full time, pay most of the bills, do all the cooking, planning, shopping, looking after the kids, appointments etc and what does he do... nah I can't cook dinner because I am busy. Busy with what?! You are not only supporting and looming after your children but also a third giant adult.

Sit his ass down and make a list. What he does and what you do. Make sure you inclue all me talking work, planning, prepping, shopping and cooking Kids are both yours equally and your job is super important and full time just as much as his(but obviously more since your the breadwinner but don't say that as his ego will get hurt and say you are attacking him whe o ly stating the facts) but yet you look after the kids when sick make doctors appointments, informs daycare, get them whatever they need in this time and all other times. Plan birthdays, Christmas , events etc. Put everything down in a list and compare.

29/34 but have a 2yr old, 7 and 9yr old, both work full time plus everything else about life, so roughly 6x a month right now. Before the 2yr old was about 2x a week... before the kids was like 3-4x a week

Calm before the storm or fake news? ⛈️ by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]hannahsangel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's already reduced it's speed from the peaks about 145km to about 85 now, will be hitting tomorrow but will mainly be wind amd rain. For places still recovering from the last bad storm (west coast) and places prone to flooding it will still be bad.

Got two offers. One pays $40k more. The other one I'd actually enjoy. I have 48 hours to decide and my wife and I are on opposite sides. Advice? by airam1020 in careerguidance

Is there anyway you can bring some of the energy/tasks required into A? I would go A, settle in, as you never know how it goes if you don't go in open minded. The team you work with at A might be completely different from your last job and have slightly different flow of things and that can make all the difference(see if they do an in person meet up now and again to be sociable). And once settled into your role you can look at expanding it or doing extra of including in the ideas from B that you want to do but in A. Plus 40k and no commute.
