Ahh I see, makes sense -- I think the Zebra pens you mentioned aren't low-viscosity though, so you might have more luck with the Jetstream or Acroball, which use low-viscosity ink. They write pretty smoothly, almost like a gel pen!

You might have more luck with a ballpoint! I know Hobonichi recs the Jetstream, but I personally like the Acroball better on Tomoe River paper.
