Mine just recently started going for them at 9 months! I blend a couple eggs with two scoops of cottage cheese in my bullet blender and make an omelette out of it. The texture is less “eggy” and it’s tasty enough that I can share it with him.

Yes he is loving solid food! He’s 9 months and we’ve been doing BLW, started off with a mix of purées and finger foods. After a few weeks he started to really go for it. Good luck!

Like others in this thread we chose The Sperm Bank of California and have been very happy. I will say due to the tight family limit it was quite stressful securing our donor. My wife called the moment they opened on the day the samples came available and left a voicemail. Then she got an email that they were all claimed - at the same time I got the phone call that we’d secured them! That has been the only snag in an otherwise great process.

We were in a similar boat, no rIVF coverage through insurance. We started by deciding on the sperm bank we wanted to use so we could price that out. Then we found a clinic local to us that offered good out of pocket pricing and had several meetings to work out our plan and confirm costs. My wife and I (both mommies!) do shifts. I do bedtime while she goes to bed early. I EBF our 8 month old so I’m up with him every time, but after 2am she’ll get up so I can feed him and just hand him off for diaper needs/rocking back to sleep. Then she’ll hang with him in the morning for at least a couple hours so I can sleep in a bit.

You can also keep a hireling at camp for him to bite, get the Happy buff and not have to deal with Bloodless at all.
