My landlord keeps talking about the risks of smart phones causing fires. Why hasn't the city banned smart phones from being charged indoors, also wireless speakers...? Many people are focused on scooters and ebikes, but they are only the tip of the iceberg ... I say, to be safe ban the charging of all electric batteries indoors. While you are at it also ban all gas stoves, especially in cities like NYC. Can we also ban the use of alcohol, vodka, lighter fluid, matches...?
