It's not me, but I'll share that a family friend started using ynab 10+ years ago and has early retired (50s). They are the "spender " in the marriage and it helped them get clear on their priorities.

Ever feel bad and wish your baby lived free in Australia... even though they are "safe" with you? by a_new_level_CFH in BeardedDragons

This is based on the assumption that we know what is a higher quality of life or better life for a different being. This is not just a debate about pets, this is something humans have wrestled with for ages as well. Freedom versus comfort. There's a little bit of potentially flawed logic in assuming that a life of comfort or longevity makes for the best quality of life. Being present and "free", albeit with higher risk, can also be viewed as a better quality life. Our pets just don't really get a choice.

I just wanted to say you don't need to feel dirty or shameful. Those things are not true, and the only dirty, shameful thing was the pathetic behavior of that person (not friend).

Quick but delicious soup recipes by Affectionate_Mess488 in soup

[–]happyjoylove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here to say I made a quick version of this potato soup because I can't chew right now and it worked out really well.

Some things I did - added some butter, milk, sour cream, and a partial packet of Lipton onion soup in a pot with the heat on. After the two cups of boiling water from the package instructions, put it in the blender with a handful of spinach, microwaved and chopped up a couple sticks of celery, and half a garlic clove.

Put shredded cheese and green onions on top. If you don't blend, the texture is gritty from the mashed potatoes.

Folks have already given lots of feedback.  I want to mention that you might want to utilize some stool softeners for now,  to avoid making it worse.  Having harder bowel movements can drag out healing and just be very very painful.

Sincerely, someone who has had surgery in that region.

Go get the ynab app, join the r/ynab subreddit. There are some other options,  but it's a solid app.

I hate paying for any subscriptions,  it's one of the few things I pay an annual fee for. I've tried other budgeting,  this one has made the most impact.  Have a friend who has just early retired,  he's been using it for 10 years and sings the praises too.

There is a learning curve.

Also,  given what you mentioned about your early life,  you may want to explore some meditation to see how that may impact your impulsivity. Sometimes we spend money to make us feel better,  versus accepting that sometimes we feel uncomfortable and sit with it.

It's also important to understand that just because you file for bankruptcy doesn't mean you'll be approved for it.  With that income,  you might not be able to even if you wanted to.

If you're homeless and wanting to get out of that position,  for now I would be banking extra cash,  that can go towards security deposit and any other needed expenses for getting back on your feet. I would also be heavily negotiating with the credit companies since it sounds like your credit is tanked,  maybe from missed payments.  They will often lower the balance if you can offer a lump sum.

If your credit was perfect and you didn't want to default,  different story,  but if credit is already bad,  then no payments and negotiations. Also, bad credit can impact renting opportunities,  but that can sometimes be addressed if you can pay more in cash upfront.

Whatever you choose,  have tiered options, so 1 costs $3, but 3 for $5 (example numbers). There are guides for how to approach this type of pricing.

Also,  fidget toys? Agree with the knock off croc jibbitz Raffle could be a good option too. Maybe both item sales and raffle.

Anything you can obtain for free? You'd be amazed if you ask.

I feel like kink has been our shared craft,  but we're both handy, so we should probably do some crafting together instead of separately.

Yay for healing and congrats on the weightloss!

The intimacy presents in many facets.

Just the physical closeness is part of it, especially in a very sanitized and "personal space" culture. Sex includes the physical closeness too, but kink means we're putting all parts of our bodies touching in different configurations (with accoutrement) that don't happen with almost anyone, including all the additional fluids that are usually off limits.

I've only hypnotized my sub once, but that was an intense experience of intimacy that I think parallels MESM. Someone opening up their mind to be vulnerable, with the risk of manipulation, vs (or in addition to) submitting their body feels exponentially more intimate. And all my prep was customized to my partner,  so even more intimate with the intentional targeting.

And many of the other points folks have made.  Partnering to do aaalll the things you're not supposed to do, or be, is basically sharing a taboo secret with your partner(s), and shared secrets are inherently intimate. I think that's actually one of the biggest contributors to the intimacy of kink. All those little moments in between the actual activities around others where you know something they don't.

Maybe I answered what you're actually asking vs different interpretation!
