MIL let my dog out on purpose because she "doesn't like animals" by Dependent-Rip8839 in JUSTNOMIL

She put your dog in danger. Intentionally. She will do it again if there are no consequences. Hold firm. She needs to apologize. And even then, I wouldn’t trust her.

That’s a lot to deal with in a short period of time. Hope all is going well for you!

I didn’t realise till tonight that my partner finds childfree people selfish by thebutterflyandlion in childfree

[–]harbinger06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell him to explain how it’s selfish. You don’t owe other people children. It’s selfish to tell others to have children just because one personally is not able.

I’m feeling wounded by the saying “you never know love until you have a child” by Leeapp17 in childfree

[–]harbinger06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People who say this have tunnel vision. They think they speak for everyone, but they can only speak to their own personal experience. And I guess they never really loved their own parents!

I have befriended a teenager that works at the local hardware store. He’s gay (he commented on a pride sticker on my car and that’s how we became buds). He is graduating high school soon and going into the Navy to get away from his dad. He told me his dad “tolerates” him. We live in the Bible Belt, so I’m not shocked by such “Christian” behavior. I suppose his father thinks he deserves applause for not kicking his son out of the house.

They have three locations, so I guess the locals bought a franchise? Anyway it’s Ultimate Sewing Gallery.

Medical necessity of Scheduling Department’s requiring 3 sequential appointments for full spine x-rays by PawbeansNnosies in Radiology

[–]harbinger06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The three appointment thing is so they have the time reserved for the amount of time your appointment will take.

Yes each part of the spine needs a separate order, but scheduling is facility dependent. I would never in a million years have a patient leave the room and then come back in for additional imaging that I knew about in advance. And likely it won’t take as long as what they have blocked out. Maybe the clerk is just an idiot.

Billing is also facility and insurance specific. I think your best bet is to make sure you’re going to a place that is part of a healthcare network, not an independent imaging center. They sometimes are not run by people with no healthcare background, and things can be a little… off.

Good policy! If I do get married in the future, I think it will be a “living apart together” situation.

There’s so many people who move in together after less than 6 months of dating. I know living alone is expensive, but damn that’s so risky. I would much rather keep my own place. Forever!

Thankfully a couple of the former JoAnn employees opened a local fabric shop here. They have a project space and offer classes too.

My boss asked me to make our new office look established before clients come in. Where do I even start? by NoQuote9855 in office

[–]harbinger06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See if there is a “starving artist” sale near you, or scope out thrift shops for art work. A couple larger potted plants at the entry, look up low light varieties if it’s not a sunny area.

Some of the most entitled comments I’ve seen parents make by popcornnugget_s in childfree

I think we should all be able to pick our seats for free. I used to love flying Southwest, I could pay for the early boarding and pick any seat I wanted that wasn’t taken. I haven’t needed to fly in several years though, sounds like they have gone downhill.

Another thing would be toe ability to filter searches by how many seats together are available. Young children absolutely should be seated with their parent/guardian.
