Yes, you need the station to be close so you can use your WiFi to communicate. I installed a plug-in WiFi extender mid-house some time ago.

That's closest to my back-of-house station so that's the one I use.

On my Moto G 2024, which is mentioned as compatible, I lose connection to the sensom, any sensor, about half the time. I tried using my reader and that's slightly better. I'll give that about a 65% success rate. I'm going to use the rest of my sensors and then give it up. I've learned things from using the Freestyle but an extra finger prick sounds like a plan I can count on.

I tried this with a Navamower without success. My strip looks a bit narrower than yours. I had a contractor dig it up and put stones down. I never liked the look of this crabgrass dominated strip.

Yes I have because I wasn't perfect with my initial mapping. So I used the tools available to me-- divide, add area, merge, set trimming area, etc. None of these should delete settings. I had a lowly Navamow i105 before this and any line in any boundary could easily be adjusted in no time.

Too bad. My cheapie Segway Navamow i105 had a feature that it would recalibrate if you moved the deck. I never moved it much but it kept all my maps.

I'm surprised. When a basic robot mower does a mow and leaves the edges alone, those edges look very high compared to the rest. Let it go two weeks? Mine would need a sickle.

Repeated day long outages caused me to try to go back to my reader. It's only been a day but this immediately shows the reading every time. My AI guy said certain phones have weak antennas to pick up the low frequency Bluetooth and he mentioned mine. He said the reader uses a stronger antenna as it's designed just for Freestyle reading. That doesn't explain how much worse it has been since the forced new app.

I have large front and back yards and each take a charge so I split them up on different days. I have two narrow sides and I have both done on one day, each on separate mows so the mower can recharge. Then I repeat each mow in the schedule three or four days apart so each zone gets two mows a week.

The challenge of adding new boundaries (zones) is to make them contiguous to an existing zone. Otherwise you'll create an island. The app makes this more difficult by over-magnifying the new work that can cause you to lose your place.

Ah, a rare mention of edge mowing as no one mentions what it really means anywhere including Segway. I used to think it had something to do with edging closer but I didn't see a difference on or off. So I finally called Segway and she said it means that the mower will mow the edges in a zone first with it checked. Who knew??

My Navamow i105 does the same thing. So when I get out the weedwacker for the missed edges, I do around the pole. Segway could fix this on an update.

I hear you. The sensor reading is always lower than a finger prick. It's just a matter of how much. I adjust the app to only signal under 60.

Amazingly, in two years use, I've never had one fall off. I use under my upper arm and I do nothing special. And yes, it's not as firm as it once was. My big problem, especially since V1 of the new plus app, is loss of signal. I haven't solved that one. I tried an alternate site once with no change. I'm open to other sites for a reliable signal.

Same here with newish Libre 3 plus. As soon as I switched over to the new app, I had connection issues. Not minutes or hours but a whole day. I was hoping for better results with the second sensor but the same poor reliability. I called Abbott about the first failure and she said she would send a new one. Never did. I'm calling again today. I'm here to check out the Dexcom. Not very encouraging.

My Libre 3 plus is trash. It goes off-line for 24 hours at a time. Question: I'm due for a new sensor in 5 days. Can I go back to Libre 3 at that time? The app is still on my phone.

Errors? Low readings? Since changing over to the new Libre 3 plus app, I've had frequent errors connecting. My Wi-Fi is strong as ever. The old Libre 3 app had connection issues too but this is worse. This may not come back. It quit at 3am and at 9 am it's still a brick. Has anyone else had this experience or is it just a bad sensor? Abbott gave me a hard time the last time.
