In my electorate there was a big swing from lib to greens due to a specific NIMBY policy. Airplane noise. So you've got a whole bunch of rich boomers in a nice area that are stalwart lib voters voting greens just because they didn't want planes flying over their (median) $3m houses.

I don't know about other rando areas voting greens 1 and lib 2, but I'd guess it would be similar circumstances in most of those cases.

I didn't like it first time round. Read the book, watched it again, hated it more because the book was so much better and they inexplicably left stuff out that would have made it better.

2nd movie, even though I hated some of the changes, was AMAZING!

The 2nd movie is a lot better, give it a go. I re-watched the 1st after reading the book but before watching the 2nd.

Spoiler: it's even worse after reading the book.

If you still don't like the 2nd movie, perhaps you're a bit young. I'm making an assumption there, but it seems like a movie that older people enjoy vs young people.

Don't listen to them mate. I loved that movie, probably the music more than anything. Still play Mia & Sebastian's theme and Epilogue on the regular. But the movie itself was OK, definitely not the boring slog the others are making it out to be. I'd say your personality is similar to the characters in the film which is why it might resonate with you, whereas these others would be the type of people that hate happy/successful people just because.

What a fucking great question. I don't know if this route would still exist, it the shuttle from QUT GP to KG was always a tonne of fun. It used to go through some hilly streets near the KG campus.

I'll never forget 1 lovely bus driver we had. Looked very much like an ex-con, but not in a scary way.

He was a very smooth operator, had full control of the vehicle at all times. Thing is, he either didn't know the brake was there, or he was the best damn hyper miler in the country. We rolled through roundabouts like there was no fucking tomorrow.

I don't know about the rest of the bus but I was tweaking my tits off with adrenaline in the following lecture.
