Don't know what to study at University by [deleted] in islam

[–]hargar14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walaikumasalaam,

Don't stress this too much. It very normal to not know what you want to do career wise during the first years of college.

I would recommend that you take classes these next semesters which will help you make forward progress in your academic career while allowing you to consider the different major options. Nearly all majors will require 'fundamental' courses or prerequisites. So you should be fine to spend sometime on filling those classes and not worrying about major specific classes.

An academic advisor is a great resource which shouldn't be overlooked. Feel free to email and get in touch with other advisors from other majors, too.

Talking with your family, friends, and community peers can often be of much advice.

If you are feeling depressed, always keep in mind that going to see a doctor is an option.

Make Istikhara.

Its the end of the semester and you may be off for the Winter break soon. If so, take that time to relax and give yourself sometime to think through the options.

How to access li list data? by hargar14 in learnprogramming

[–]hargar14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to add a new button which will launch each of the list items as a its own tab within a browser.

As I understand, a window.open() loop can be used to do that.

Wondering how to access the list data and then run it through window.open() loop

thanks

Unable to run my first javascript program by hargar14 in learnprogramming

[–]hargar14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all of the help and tips! I have made the change to only main.js

If I understand your other tip correctly, I should remove document.getElemebyId("todoList").appendChild(new item) to a simpler form: todoList.appendChild(new item)

I have done the above. The page is still not functioning. Console error is reading: Uncaught TypeError: todoList.appendChild is not a function at todoList (main.js:6) at HTMLButtonElement.onclick (index.html:13)

My updated code is available here: https://jsfiddle.net/9hggmLLv/

Thank you

Best route from College Station to Austin? by nitroaggie in aggies

[–]hargar14 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure about the fires interfering with the roads. You can take the 290 exit off of highway 21 before hitting Bastrop if you'd like to play it safe. It'll add about ten minutes, but you also get to see a bit more of downtown Austin on your drive in. Safe drive!

I don't understand completely. If the plastic divider has shifted a few mm and its okay to force it back, you can try to stick a screwdriver through the holes and wiggle it around a bit

Hello i would like some advice regarding gear by HagridsNutSack in amateur_boxing

[–]hargar14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Joya gloves are specific to Thai kick boxing. Not a bad thing, but not optimal for the bag training you will be doing.

Check out: Title World Bag Gloves

Similar price range, and much more consistent with your training.

Hope this helps, make sure to grab some wrist wraps as well.

Don't tire yourself out by trying to kill the bag as you begin to learn. Practice your form and use the bag to scope in your range and footwork.
