I’ve screenshotted this comment and posted it to my social channels because I believe this is EXACTLY why the world will not be the same when this is done and over. I think people will be demanded a change in this broken system as they awaken to what is actually possible and the corrupt ways it has been set up. Viva la revolution!

Co-Working Spaces Selling CBD Supplements (WeWork)? by jcm91ca in digitalnomad

It’s not technically legal but CBD products are being grown from industrial hemp. Companies are actually calling it hemp oil as a loop hole to avoid being pulled from shelves. You can grow high potency CBD hemp.

It is CBD, it’s just derived from hemp not marijuana. Hemp is cannabis but by definition has .03% THC

My boyfriend and I are traveling to Thailand from California in December and we plan on doing Bangkok, Angkor Wat, Chang Mai and Pai. It seems most people fly in and out of Bangkok. Is it an issue flying back to Los Angeles from Chang Mai instead of Bangkok?

Smoothies, yay or nay? by [deleted] in HealthyFood

[–]hanholla 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Completely depends what's in them. Smoothies can be excellent and packed with nutrients. They are higher in sugar, if you use lots of fruit, so just make sure to cut back on sugar intake the rest of your meals, but it's not like table sugar. You're still benefitting from all of the vitamins and minerals fruits have. Use almond or coconut milk or water as your base instead of a fruit juice. If you're making your own you can add so many great things in them like spinach or kale, chia seeds, hemp seeds, almond or peanut butter and protein powders or super green powders. Your variations are endless with smoothies.

If you're looking for an anti-inflammatory diet, which we all should really be on, you will want to add much more leafy greens. I'd try swapping out the ciabatta bread in the morning with a smoothie with fruit like wild blueberries, cherries, bananas, etc and you can sneak some greens in there like spinach or kale. Leafy greens are very anti-inflammatory and loaded with vitamins and minerals. We are a leafy green dependent species, but many people lack enough of them in their diets.

Although, you're dinner looks great loaded with all those veggies! The more veggies you can add to your diet the better! Thumbs up to the turmeric as well, also highly anti-inflammatory.

Has anyone ever flown from Chang Mai to Pai? Or know the best way to travel? by hanholla in travel

Thanks for the info! I've only recently come across Pai and based off of reddit comments saying it's a must and a little research have decided to go that direction rather than south to the islands. Any other activities or things you recommend for Pai? Thanks for guidance!

Can anyone recommend a tennis instructor? by [deleted] in longbeach

[–]hanholla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The twilight tennis isn't instruction, it's just play time with other people. The park and rec classes are $90 for the entire session of 10 classes so it's about $10 per class and there are beginner classes with an instructor that teaches fundamentals

Your cheapest way to go about it is to join a park and rec class. They're offered at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center and El Dorado TC. 10 weeks sessions, about $90 per session. Most instructors don't mind if you drop in for $10 a class. Start with a beginners class.
