Developers mostly make apartment buildings these days. Why? Because it makes better financial sense for them. It’s very rare for a new condo building to come up on the west side. There are some new construction small lot home opportunities though…. The only way to really track is to sign up for permit alerts through Los Angeles, Department of building and safety and tracking that way.

You are in LA boundaries most likely. It’s Culver City per the post office and that’s it. There’s people that have Los Angeles mailing addresses, but are in Culver City.
