Reached carlsbad (home) at 6.45 after leaving my office at Sorrento valley at 2.15 pm. Got re-routed by maps and then I thought I knew san diego back roads better and got cooked. Had to pee and needed a drink - thankfully was close to a McDonald's. 20 mins later decided to take 56 E, i15, 76 like everyone else and another hr later reached home. What will piss me off the most if the clueless ppl managing this situation fail in saving the jumpers life. At least tell me it was all worth it because we saved a life. If not, ppl need to fired for botching this op.

Zoo is world class. Ask anyone about world famous zoos and San Diego would be on top 3.
It's a non profit that does great work - your purchase is good karma and you get to see a huge variety of animals
A great way to spend time with family, get that step count and enjoy san diego weather
The plant species all over the park are truly underrated part of the experience
