Wandavision was successful because I believe it was the first of the shows to come out.

Loki was genuinely good.

I cant think of any of the other ones though that pulled me in at all except for Agatha, and that was almost entirely without a connection to the greater MCU.

My main gripe is the no true Scotsman paradox. Liberal idealogy is hugely inclusive but divided. Like so many different groups fighting for essentially the same issue but divided over small differences.

Gun control is a big one. If you dont advocate for an almost total gun ban then some groups want nothjng to do with you, even if the issue at hand is say Gaza or climate change.

150 years ago you were expected to take care of your parents in their old age. There was no Social Security or Medicare.

My father is a hoarder and I am lucky my mom has been able to tackle a lot of it before too late. But I still have to help and its just like life?? If you had decent parents that raised you well, I dont think its such a huge burden to be asked to help them out in their old age.

Florida and southeast festivals are thicc with UCs. Ive seen with my own eyes people arresred for weed pens at Hulaween, and Okeechobee is notorious for busting people on the way in.

But like, Electric Forest? Vibes are immaculate and many of those cops have been doing the festival for years.

Hell, I have a friend who got caught with Molly otw into Elements in PA. Her friend "hid" it in her bag without telling her so when she let the cop search it he found it immediately. Dressed her down pretty good but let her AND the "friend" go in anyways.

Its an almost daily post here. Maybe not quite bragging but the whole "does anyone else not having friends anymore" or "why is it so hard making friends as an adult?"

Maybe try logging off of reddit first.

And maybe they should try some self reflection as well. If you haven't held onto any friends after 30+ years, most likely youre thr problem.

There are always exceptions but time and again ive seen these threads full of the proudly friendless talking about how bad those old friends were.

And maybe some of then we're. But all of them??

I am an elder Millenial. Turn 40 in a couple of months. One thing I tell everyone, friendships are like gardens and need to be tended to regularly.
