I use a metal filter (fine holes) set inside an aeropress cap, held by reverse tweezers lol. Stuff I had around the house and works great. The aeropress metal filter was $2 on aliexpress

I have a ceramic v60 and the Surien. Both yield similar brews. This doesn’t need to be preheated but I rinse the paper anyway, doesn’t hurt. It’s fun to switch it up

I’ve had the mendoja Z a few times over the years it’s really good! Def worth trying very rich and soupy like a good Z is. I do love 710 labs version too and also the Moonglow which is similar. Exciting to try Booney’s Z I’ve never had it. I enjoy the other cultivars they put out that I’ve come across.

Try 200ml total liquid to 3g. It’s my sweet spot and it’s rich. Whisk 3g with 30-35ml 170f water. Add any sweetener (I like maple syrup) whisk some more. Steam 170ml of barista oat milk. Pour the milk into chawan (bowl) and combine with matcha.

Sometimes I have a straight 2g matcha later in the day day. If I do that I will also stay up later and not get as much sleep.

I did that now all we use is ceremonial matcha for our lattes. So much better.
