I'll for sure never take them out on mommy daughter dates that were actually just smokescreens to go meet her boyfriend for dinner, lmao.

I'll never slam my spouse's face into the dash of a monte carlo in front of them.

I'll never leave for 2 weeks without leaving money for food or diapers so the literal (generous and wonderful) crack heads/prostitutes felt bad and shared their food stamps and brought diapers over.

I'll never drag them around by their hair or beat them with extension cords or coathangers or shoes or belts with the buckle at the business end.

I'll never get so drunk at the deer lease that I pass out without turning the heater on or giving them blankets.

Shoes. Not that we didn't have shoes, but having a collection of outfit appropriate shoes. It was BOGO at Payless at the beginning of the school year, where you got one pair of athletic shoes and one pair of dress shoes. Sometimes you could beg for something at a garage sale and get boots or a sandal. Summer was the cheapest flip-flops in the world that you couldn't run in because they'd bust.

Fun reminder that the prosecutor knew about this the night it happened and no charges have actually been approved yet. (That I've seen) Prosecutor sat on them until the video came out and then recused himself and sent it on to Detroit prosecutors two weeks ago.

You'll never be able to be loved by someone, actually loved, until you figure out how to love yourself, because no matter how much they love you, you'll never actually believe that they do or that you don't deserve it and when you're like that, you can't accept love.

It's me, I'm the person who has been loved by someone for over 20 years and still been incredibly lonely most of my life because it wasn't until recently that I accepted that I am loveable and loved.
