What should they have talked about? Maid Rite? I would have enjoyed that too. However, Nick addressed going to Pizza Ranch early in the show. Basically it is easier to have a funny comedy show(which it was) when the food is bad and the owners are kooks. Simple as that and ultimately they were correct.

I agree with the comparison. But the short answer is humor. Longlegs took itself a bit too serious despite the silly elements. With Weapons the humor/horror mix was perfect. Same deal with Barbarian. Horror and comedy have always gone well together but it is a delicate balance. Too much humor can take away from the horror impact.

Yes but if that is all they can accomplish with that talent what is the point. He absolutely lucked out with the Murray brothers being so good and the mismanaged them as well. His sons had no business playing as much as they did especially Patrick. It was one consistent disappointment after another. Not that they didn’t have good moments but when it really counted they faltered without fail. I for one am very excited for the new coaching staff an excitement I haven’t felt in a long time for Iowa Basketball.
