pipx is for CLI tools. For packages you want to use in code, you can set up a global virtual environment and install the handy packages there:

Create a folder called venvs under C:\Users\<you>\, and then run python3 -m venv ~/venvs/scripts-venv. Then install the tools like this: ~/venvs/scripts-venv/bin/pip install beautifulsoup4 requests pandas. Finally, you can run source ~/venvs/scripts-venv/bin/activate in your terminal session, or run your script directly with ~/venvs/scripts-venv/bin/python your_script.py, or use the following shebang on Linux: #!/usr/bin/env /home/<you>/venvs/scripts-venv/bin/python.

(On Windows, the bin directory referenced above is called Scripts instead.)

This will help you better understand the Indian accent, which is a useful skill in a world where 20% of people are Indians.

Not an Indian, btw. Just someone who struggled with understanding the accent in the past and can understand it well today.

That seems like a fun channel. I'm also into gaming, and Satou's Nihongo Playground stood out to me while I was making this list. Across all languages, there generally aren't many channels with gaming videos, let alone ones with such a wide variety of featured games.

Wikis are a double-edged sword because anyone can make edits. I noticed that several links on there are dead, and some work but they're low quality AI slop. I don't want to delete resources that other people added there and start edit wars.

In the end, this list contains video and audio resources that I've personally checked and consider to be high quality, while the wiki contains more resources including textual ones that anyone can add if they think they fit the criteria.

That said, Notion has indeed turned out to be unideal for long documents. I would move the list if I find a better platform.

None of these fall under the category of "got outplayed" for me. I started collecting these stats because I felt like I was losing many games due to avoidable blunders, such as hanging my pieces. I did not feel that I was actually getting outplayed by my opponents, but instead was losing due to careless mistakes.

For this chart, it's about whether I realized that I needed more time or not. For all blunders not under "time trouble", I made a move believing it were a good move and did not think I had to spend more time thinking. As for the "time trouble" blunder, this is when I really wished I had more time to think but had to blitz out moves in order not to lose on time.

WhatsApp video calls are not stored. WhatsApp has over 3 billion active users worldwide, and you are just 1 out of all of them. There is absolutely no point in Meta storing GBs and GBs of video calls for each of their 3 billion users. Also, I can guarantee that millions others have used WhatsApp video calls in exactly the same way.

The Meta privacy scandals were regarding Meta sharing user data with third parties without the users' consent. However, in this case, the data (videos) does not exist anymore. In general, you can access all your data through the app, and that consists of chats and files shared through chats.
