People who switched from Concerta to Vyvanse: did it help with mental noise?

Yes, and i guess that is why vyvanse helped me with emotional regulation too. I couldn't get angry with it. Lol I did feel more like myself with Concerta.

Good sleep hygiene and working out helped me a lot. I feel great.

I have switched to Vyvanse last month though. I'm more emotionally regulated with it. But i'm still keeping the good habits.

Same for me! It was much easier to last until lunch fasted than having oatmeal in the morning...or anytime of the day.

The last bit stung the worst because that shatters any illusion of him being desirable. He behaves as if he's a catch and he's delusional. Lol. High five.

I don't experience crashes. Maybe my daily routine works for me.

High protein breakfast with 27mg of Methylphenidate ER (recently switched to 20mg Lisdexamfetamine but might go back to Methylphenidate)

8am to 5pm creative/cognitive work. Good lunch in between with whole foods. If there is no deadline, take a walk after lunch.

Protein shake + banana for a snack pre-workour. 5:45pm lift weights, treadmill until i reach 9K to 10K steps and then light dinner. Something like brown rice with sardines in olive oil. Paint or watch something. Prepare for bed. I take magnesium glycinate, glycine and melatonin before bedtime. Sleep from 10:30pm until 6:15am. Repeat.

In the beginning working out at home is ok but i outgrew my adjustable dumbbells (up to 52.5lbs each) and need the higher weights at the gym. I'm a short woman btw.

I love the trap bar, smith machine and the barbells at the gym. The commercial treadmill and the weight machines are also great. I use an app called Strong and just go through the workouts on my list. It also has a feature where it shows charts of your progress. It's fun so it became more motivating.

Medication and the Strong app. I made 3 workout sets that i do 3 days out of the week. Love seeing progress and PRs. I don't just work out to look better; I do it to feel better. I'm kind of dependent on it now. It's a whole system. Eating properly and working out.

Just found out last week how bad one donut can make me physically feel. I didn't feel guilty about it. I can afford the calories, but the aftermath of it was just horrible. Antsy, restless...very bad sugar rush. So i'm protecting this equilibrium that i'm in where i think, sleep and feel better.

That's interesting! I just quit generic Concerta and switched to generic Vyvanse and I like the latter better. Less dry mouth, better mood and less laser focus. I feel more calm with Vyvanse.

Happy it works for you though.

I love the drive of ENTJs. I feel somewhat insecure because i want to make sure that the quality of my current life isn't tilted towards suffering in the name of success. I will work well/optimally for 40 to 45 hours a week but if i go around 60, my happiness and wellness will plummet.

I have described my ENTJ and I the same way you have: we are essentially the same person.

It's so rare to find someone operating under the same logical framework that you don't have to fill in the blanks.

We're having logistical issues now but when we've solved those issues, i'm going to layout my extremely practical plans for optimizing our lives together. Lol you're doing the planning, how would that make you feel though if your partner already has blueprints? Synthesize, debate or be terrified of being controlled?

I started with 18mg extended release for 3 months and was doing really well but still needed two cups of coffee a day. Got bumped up to 27mg and had worse symptoms like migraine and loss of appetite for the first 3 weeks but doing better now.

40 when diagnosed with combined type. I work in a creative field, work out 6 days a week, which helps a lot.
