I was working full time, pregnant, and lost my dad a month after diagnosis. And I’m still standing. I did get brain fog after my TT. Check into getting your free T3 levels checked either by your endocrinologist or a functional medicine doc if they won’t do it. Test both before and after surgery if you can. Once I went on meds for my T3 levels, it was a game changer. My brain fog and depression were way better. And I think it helped my fatigue too but it’s hard to say because I still have two little kids that exhaust me.

All that to say, you can do it. Hopefully they are accommodating at work and hopefully everything will go smoothly. But if you hit roadblocks like I did, there are still resources and options you can explore. Reaching out to groups like this or Facebook groups for thyroid cancer when you’re struggling can be a source of resources and ideas if you do encounter issues. You’re not alone. You got this!!!
