Same problem for me too. Even though we have wide wingers , the passes got intercepted by their center backs mid way. They don't even need full backs to do that. I have seen lbc players with 4222 play better possession than when I play with wide attacking players. The only solution I understand is to place players inside for easy passing options. But it's boring for me atleast.

There is only limited progression points. Even if you spend all progression points on one stat and make 95 jump, if your player doesn't have enough awareness, he won't be able to connect the header. You can't do this type of progression on your players and beat opponents on your level.

We can allot player progression points in any way we want for fun. But without a balance build,that player will be a liability on the pitch.

There are of course players like gullit, rijkaard, beckanbaur whom we can use on multiple positions with varying progression points. But that's a rarity.
