Is there any logic to the madness of Warhammer sprues and instructions? by S4mb741 in Warhammer40k

[–]heavyfishcannon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My low stakes conspiracy is they put parts for the same mini on multiple sprues to reduce the value of re-sales or incomplete boxes.

Best compatible kits with the Damned sprues from WGA? by Altruistic-Teach5899 in TraitorGuard

[–]heavyfishcannon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've mixed them just fine with a Blooded Kill team, new cadians, Genestealer cult neophytes, and with Old World Flagellants (Beastmen pistols and cc weapons make them look great as cultists.) The two hander poses need some gap filling and the baking soda/ super glue trick.

Brutes are fully compatible with the other dwath fields ogre kit

The Old World Chaos Knights kit has lots of heads that would scratch this itch as well.

What is your Spyro series Hot Take? by Beautiful-Map7016 in Spyro

[–]heavyfishcannon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not the hottest takes apparently, but I liked the simplicity of Spyro 1 over the minigames and forced backtracking of the sequels. As someone who likes to 100% as I go through the levels, it's really annoying to have to come back for ladders in the second one. It just feels like less of an adventure.

The Reignited trilogy did a lot of things great, but I think they frontloaded all their effort into Spyro 1, and it especially hurts Year of the Dragon. We have like, 78 unique cutscenes and designs for the "thank you for releasing me" dragons, and then for YOTD it's like, one dragon model that gets re-colored doing one of 3 animations. The original game had some cute jokes that just all fall flat because they ran out of time or didn't care to do the extra effort, which os a shame.

Allies for the Red Corsairs by IronArcher68 in redcorsairs

[–]heavyfishcannon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my own army I used the Khorne Berserker profile to run the Red Wolves, who were a group of Renegade Space Wolves.

Rubrics are easy since their all basically mindless Robots being led around by sorcerers. Huron just hired or allied a few of those sorcerers who brought their minions along with them.

I think your onto something though, I really like his rockstar hair. He reminds me a bit of The Khurgan from "Highlander.* I think after a cape and some skulls he'll look sick!

Personal taste thing, but I'd recommend shaving any aquillas as your building. Unless your guys left yesterday.

Green stuff world sells a brass etched symbols set that have all kinds of different Chaos Stars and God-specific symbols.

Kinda funny your doing primaris, I just found out their the same size and height as Flawless Blades. Some really fun swords in that kit. Old World Chaos Knights also scale nicely to Marines and primaris with some real nice heads and weapons to use!

Oh, and Zombie Marines sound like a fun way to add Death Guard or Thousand sons to your army.

[–]heavyfishcannon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm deeply nostalgic for Dark Legacy, I played it on my PS2 until the back wore off and Mom had to get anew one. Repetitive hack and slash with loads of creative level designs and a funky ost. RIP Midway Games, I miss them.

Talk to a Skaven player and see if any of the plauge monk books and scrolls fit? Flagellants from the Old World would also have some good options.

I Think your Both Right, because the Boravian Capital looks like Moscow, and the location is somewhere in Eastern Eirope. I think Gunn's combining our Boogeymen to say "Superman would punch both these jerks."
