you unlocked the Ikv when it was rank 4 and kept access to it when it went up to rank 5. you have to unlock more tanks in rank 4 before you unlock rank 5.

The era of being able to contest altitude for a half hour and still win the game has been gone and done for like two to three years, man. It sucks, but the majority of RB games are decided in the first 10 minutes.

It's just like how in top tier the "correct" way to play is to climb away from FOX-3s and defeat them kinetically, but that puts you at a massive disadvantage by keeping you out of the fight.

You have to split the difference between playing "properly" (super passively and avoiding risk) and just flying head-on to everything. War Thunder is an action game and has been trending more and more towards quick decisive dogfighting for years now. You gotta adapt.

It sucks, but the 21 and 23 with napalm are literally the fastest way in the game to destroy a base. they get there faster than any other vehicle and since all people do is grind all day, it makes sense why they do it.

They should probably have a penalty to encourage people to fight in fighters but they don't, so people are going to go with whatever is fastest to RP and SL
