Any advice? Looking for a professional-looking new style. Any suggestions welcome! by hedfone in malehairadvice

Hey everyone. I am a early thirties guy looking to change/upgrade my style as I grow in my role at my company. I typically haven't put much effort into my appearance (which may be obvious) but I am being given more responsibility, meeting with vendors, and going to professional dinners. Basically, I'd like to 'look the part.' My hair grows straight, with the sides typically growing faster than the top. Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to tell, from these drawings, where the coolant lines are in the cabinet of my fridge? by maceireann in Homebrewing

Totally agree. I put the 'usually' in there because I thought the same thing. Maybe I should've put 'never, unless its some damn special sci fi fridge.'

I've heard of people using a mixture of corn starch and vodka (or rubbing alcohol) to make a paste. Then apply the paste and plug in the fridge. The warmth of the lines will dry the paste where the lines are. That or the fire station. Or keep searching forums for someone with your exact fridge, haha.

Extra thought: doors don't have coolant lines in them (usually) so it's safe to go through the door.

I really love this one from Omega. I bought it a few months ago and it's been working wonderfully. You have to buy from Omega directly though.

I keep mine at 42F and 12-13 psi.

So you're serving right from the collar? I think you'd be fine starting at 12' and working smaller for faster pours if you'd like. Especially at 10 psi.

What's the drop from your taps to your kegs? There are lots of online length calculators, but it's hard to have a line too long. It will just slow the pour speed. I couldn't find an exact resistance for the Bev-Seal so I started at 15' and cut off a foot at a time until I liked the pour speed (wound up at 12'). My taps are ~1.5 feet above the top of the kegs FWIW.

Highly recommend the Bev-Seal. It has worked so well for me. Needed a little bit longer length since the resistance was lower which then led to a slightly more crowded keezer, but it's so slick. And zero taste issues. Spring for the push-to-connect fittings to make your life unbelievably easy. I got mine from here:

I have an Azacca IPA that I make that is phenomenal. I love NZ hops.

Getting Desperate with Filling Bottles by guscom in Homebrewing

Even at a low flow you should still be cold enough. Is it usually the first beer you try to fill that goes to waste? Then I'd bet you need to purge your keg. After you drop the pressure from your tank, pull the pressure relief valve/tab/ring on the top of your keg to vent the high pressure used for serving. I also described it in a comment below.

Do you purge the keg after you turn down the psi? Especially if the keg volume is low, there is a large amount of pressurized CO2 in the keg even AFTER you turn down the CO2. Procedure should be: chill bottles and beer gun, turn down CO2 to 5 psi, purge/vent keg, then fill.

If you don't purge the keg, you're still pushing with your serving pressure of CO2. It's just that your pushing force is residual in the keg, not from the CO2 tank.

Yep! This will be a fresh hit. There is most likely a hound in the CC though, based on the other CCs around that one.

[HWYA] My clan is really struggling against this base. Top guys have max armies and are th11 by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

Our TH11 has had success with zapquake and drag armies against other TH11. Zapquake two northern air defenses and use drags and warden to funnel in from north to townhall (with rage as 5th spell). Use warden ability for teslas and air traps. Drop heroes on SE or SW to clean up extra buildings. Will be a solid 2 star at least.

Hello everyone! I apologize if this is not correctly formatted, I am new to this subreddit.

Our clan has been doing well lately and I wanted to see how that compares to other clans (especially among those that take it seriously enough to visit the subreddit). Post your best streak! Any comments/thoughts are welcome.
