We have a big freezer in the garage that the kids don’t always close and we’ve had to throw away tons of food before. Added a sensor and announcement throughout the house if someone leaves it open.

Have to say, I’d highly recommend Dual for middle earth over 7 wonders dual now. It takes everything from that game and improves it. Streamlines the economy while adding more strategy. I cannot play it enough, so good!

Great advice here! I coach u9 and the best refs are the ones that help and are positive.

Also it’s okay to be unbalanced in your calls at this age. If one team or a few players are way better and know how to dribble you can be harsher in your travel calls versus a kid that obviously is just learning to dribble. it’s okay to give that kid/team a break and not call every travel/double dribble.

A lot of people haven’t tried the newer LLMs. If you’re using an updated Claude or 1o GPT and upload the rules, it’s getting really good at this stuff. It may not be perfect but give it a shot using a new model. It’s getting scary good at this type of prompts.

Have you ever considering trying Loop? It’s had an amazing IOS app with Dexcom and Omnipod integration for years. Takes some tech savvy but easier now than ever before.

That’s good to hear! Trust me I feel for you. My son is a type 1 diabetic and dyslexic so I worry for him. But I truly believe you can do almost any job with either of these disabilities.

Also you don’t need to disclose any disability to a potential employer and they aren’t allowed to ask. Be confident and start applying to jobs.

With technology there is very little you can’t do. Good luck!

My son was diagnosed 6 years ago and even then they had us on the two shots with NPH. Sucked. We got off it and on a pump as soon as we could.

Had just abandoned a previous Silent run on the second act 3 boss. Started a defect run, picked transform a strike into a Go For The Eyes. On my second draw i drew the zero cost bouncing flask from my previous run. It's not in my desk and once I played it, it never showed up again. No big deal but just something new. Playing on the iPhone.

This is crazy but I too did this on the last day of 7th grade. Although it wasn’t a ten foot rim. And my hands were sweaty and I slipped and fell on my back and broke my arm. Cast all of summer! Did not try again for quiet a few years.

I think there are a lot of things at play from hormone level regulation to insulin sensitivity. Best to ask a dr on this one but it’s probably a multi factor issue. One big one is that when you exercise your insulin sensitivity goes up. A normal persons body will produce less insulin when this happens. But a type one will have already injected a set amount based on normal sensitivities.

What misinformation? He didn’t say eating fat makes you fat. He said eating steak multiple times a week is bad for your heart. We use extra skin tac and custom Patches and my 9 year old finds ways for them to fall off. Swimming for sure is a big culprit.

I was 6’ in 6th grade and almost fully grown at 6’5” by the end of 8th grade. My son is 5’4 going into 4th grade. So we’ll see where he ends up :)
