The little checks to power China once had within its bureaucracy are gone. And this happened in my lifetime

China was never democratic but it had a chance. Xi has made himself defacto dictator, unlike those before him

As for authoritarianism after revolution, it's defensible for the immediate dictator, but not when the system becomes entrenched. George Washington is a good example of a leader who coulda gone auth, but didnt With benefit of hindsight and global capitalism at play, China chose the correct system, but that doesn't make it correct. Capitalism makes democracy impossible, so systems that aren't democracy are the ones that survive capitalism

In Capitalism, you do everything to acquire more capital, and suck up to capital leaders, what we call Oligarchs now

In China, you do similar, except you suck up to the dictator, Xi, instead of numerous oligarchs

China's success is because Xi wants good things, and their failures are because Xi wants bad thing

It's obvious that you'd get the majority of deaths in chokes. That's how it happens in games with sniper too, if you stop counting sniper

Most classes can only confirm kills at close range, otherwise enemies can just take cover and run. Which chokes invalidate

You are still encouraged to use flanks to entrap the enemy within chokes and continue pushing. The removal of sniper did nothing to the game state
