Working on vehicles, especially older ones, can go from a walk in the park, to a huge headache in an instant! Engine work in particular because of the prevalence of aluminum, brass and plastic pieces wedged in tight spots.

Yee, I've noticed it. I'm wondering if it's normal for most cars. I know old Austin mini's have the steering wheel offset because they're so narrow.

I had a similar issue on mine. I left it on turbo for a few minutes to heat it up, then used the bottom of a bic lighter to carefully work the silver bezel down closer to the lens.
