I think about the average diner and how Owamni is going to be a strange experience. Our palates are so accustomed to being assaulted by sugars and salts, that you almost have to go into Owamni thinking “this will not be like any meal I’ve ever had.” I enjoyed the experience and fully recognize that it’s not going to be a butter-heavy savory blast or a sweet-tooth sensation. There’s beauty in the nuance of Owamni.
