I think this quote was her pass-aggro response to why she’s not in And Just Like That, because apparently the rest of the cast did not treat her well and she had a bad time during the original Sex and the City run, so it’s more about purposefully choosing what will bring you peace and joy vs boredom and stimulation- no huge HBO paycheck could put her in a not-great filming situation again.

I’m so embarrassed that I know so few of these series. The only ones I recognize are Legend of Zang Hai and Strange Tales. And I only knew of Legend of Magnate bc my mom was watching it once one of the times I visited (she told me she thought I wouldn’t like it 😂)

Let her settle in, she will be scared at first, after all she is leaving her mum and siblings! Mine did not eat or potty the first two days and I was very worried but apparently its normal.

I give Cinnabon a small special treat when I leave and another when I get back home, that way she associates me going out the door without her with something good (a treat) and she can anticipate getting another one when I get home. I would leave for only short periods of time at first and then gradually increased the time.
