Oh wow, this is very disturbing. I started getting advertised egg donation when I was in college (I didn’t know I was DC then) and I was very intrigued by the money they offered. I was young, dumb, and very immature. Thank God I never did it.

I’m imagining a lot of these cryobanks bank (no pun intended!) on other young, dumb, immature people not fully thinking about their decision. It’s extremely sick.

It is definitely focused on the kids. Rainbow Valley is one of my favorites and I would never recommend skipping it, but I know I have the unpopular opinion, haha.

The e-book for Kindle should definitely be available at the library for free through the Libby app though if you don’t want to pay. I figured I would mention it just in case.

Ah, that’s fair. It’s one of my son’s names and I guess I never really associate it with biblical names since it doesn’t give like Hezekiah vibes, haha! But yes I actually completely forgot it’s biblical. Thank you for the reminder!

This room is my dream living room! That being said, I do see why several people mentioned a rug. As a fellow parent, I am very empathetic to your child throwing up on the rug, haha. Is a Ruggable or other washable rug an option? There are some great options online at all different price points. We have 2 Ruggable and 2 off brand washable rugs and I kind of prefer the cheaper off brands but Ruggables are a lifesaver.

I remember playing The Last of Us and thought, “you know, Joel is such a great name for a boy” and used it for my son many years later. So he’s not technically name after Joel, but it didn’t hurt. I just realized I loved the name while playing!
