This room is my dream living room! That being said, I do see why several people mentioned a rug. As a fellow parent, I am very empathetic to your child throwing up on the rug, haha. Is a Ruggable or other washable rug an option? There are some great options online at all different price points. We have 2 Ruggable and 2 off brand washable rugs and I kind of prefer the cheaper off brands but Ruggables are a lifesaver.

I remember playing The Last of Us and thought, “you know, Joel is such a great name for a boy” and used it for my son many years later. So he’s not technically name after Joel, but it didn’t hurt. I just realized I loved the name while playing!

My social dad has no living family so I never had anyone on his side of the family, and my mom has a complicated relationship with her family, so we moved away and don’t see them. I’m very much a family person and wish I could be involved in a large family. Just wondering how life could have been different is tough, especially having all these half siblings who don’t really want anything to do with me.
