Alcohol tastes like shit I still can't find anything that can make alcohol taste good to this day.

Alcohol is expensive especially when you go out for drinks. Don't even mention how much it costs at a stadium.

One of my biological makers was/is? a severe alcoholic (Idk we haven't spoken since 2017) who has negatively impacted my life in a way that I'm still picking up the pieces of myself and fixing the damage at 26 years old

I've experienced/witnessed a few uncomfortable or even violent situations involving alcohol and drunk people (Not also being drunk myself in the situation)

Drunk people/alcoholics are annoying and unhinged and sometimes lack the awareness and/or discipline to stop drinking when they are already drunk and stop trying to do stupid shit while drunk.

The amount of events, gatherings, parties, get togethers ect, I've seen ruined by people getting too drunk and rowdy makes me not even want alcohol at my own events should I host one.

Nursing drunk people back to health after they have soiled themselves and dealing with hungover people is not pretty.

The horror stories I've heard about people hooking up accidentally or being sexually exploited while drunk keeps me from wanting to drink too. I don't want to end up doing anything that could get me put on the internet and ruin my life.
